DESCRIPTION

This exercise illustrates how Galapagos’ Evolutionary Solver can find optimal scenarios for multiple variables. The exercise aims to approximate a NURBS curve as closely as possible with a fixed number of arc segments which allow for easier fabrication. It does so by minimising the accumulated smallest distance between a series of NURBS curve points and the variable tangent arc segments that approximate it.

This exercise is using Grasshopper version 1.0.0007
