DESCRIPTION
Continuous data of any type can be ‘snapped’ to a predefined number of values. This allows the perfectly smooth to be replaced with a calculated stepped approximation of reduced complexity, where the number of steps is a variable. Applications can e.g. ease fabrication implementation.
