All data in Explicit History is stored in lists. Sometimes you need to extract specific items from a list. This example definition shows how to extract a single point from a list of division points. For Sublist extraction see exercise “1.1.7 Sort & SubSet”.

PROCEDURE

1. Pick one item from the list of division points
2. Draw a line from every division point of the top curve to that one list item
